Why I Use It
A lot of the things I want to keep tabs on don’t come with a convenient RSS feed or notification system. I use ChangeDetection to watch GitHub repositories for activity — releases, README updates, anything worth knowing about — as well as blogs and sites that post irregularly but matter enough that I don’t want to miss something. It fills the gap that RSS can’t always cover, and since it’s self-hosted I can monitor as many targets as I want without hitting limits or paying for a service. When something changes, I get notified and can see exactly what was different.
