Why I Use It

I don’t want an algorithm deciding what I see. With FreshRSS, I choose exactly what goes into my feed — nothing more, nothing less. I use it to follow cybersecurity blogs, homelab write-ups, and tech news, all organized into their own categories so I can read what I’m in the mood for without everything blending together. RSS works for practically any site that publishes one, so the range of what you can pull in is huge. It’s a simple idea but it puts you back in control of how you consume content, which is increasingly rare.
